Vishal is back. This time, the actor is keen to strike it rich and hence, he claims that he had left no stone unturned in terms of performance in Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai (TVP), a film directed by debutant Thiru.
Says Vishal: 'I play Karthik, a playboy who has this habit of always choosing only from the three best options, even when it comes to his marriage. The film is a different journey so, the tructure, genre, sound are different too - this is definitely funky'.
Produced by Vishal’s home banner GK Film Corporation, Tanushree Dutta, Sarah Jane and Neetu Chandra play heroines in this film. The movie also has Santhanan and Sudha Chandran, apart from Prakash Raj, who will be making a guest appearance.
The music has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. His songs are the highlight of this film, Vishal says and adds: ‘Yuvan always know what
to give and what not to when it comes to music. All his songs in TVP would rock.’
On his part, director Thiru says, ‘The Vishal you see in films is totally different from the real Vishal. He is trendy, suave and cool.
In contrast, he is shown in films is an angry young main who comes to the city from a rural area only to cross swords with baddies.’
